Life Coaching Style: What Can You Expect?

You might be curious as to how a life or spiritual coaching session works. Inspiring Spirit stands by the belief that we each have all the answers to life's questions. The only real tough part is finding those answers, usually deep inside of us. So what we work on together is figuring out where your answers are.

We usually begin by getting to know where you are in life right now and what you are looking to get out of it. We'll examine your belief and value systems and analyze your current perspective of life. We will focus on your goals in regards to your personal view of yourself, your career goals, your health, love, family, your home life and where you are at spiritually. Though our coaching sessions will never be about a particular religion, as a spiritual counselor, guiding you to a richer connection with GOD -- with the Infinite Wisdom -- will definitely be a part of your journey.

Once we have a good overview of your particular needs and wants, we will create a baby step by baby step plan that will enable you to take the right actions to reach all of your goals.

How Do I Know This Works?

I know this works because this is what I used to get myself a life. You see I dealt with depression, ADD and general anxiety disorder most of my life. I lived through different degrees of it since I was twelve years old -- from being suicidal, to having it all as in a great social life and a career I loved, only to lose it all by slipping back into that big black hole. I stayed in bed for a year, became agoraphobic and had trouble being around anyone that wasn't a family member and some of those were difficult to be around too. After some time, a lot of work and through the love of my family and husband, I got to be somewhere in the middle of all of that: well enough to be a good wife and mom, but to be honest, not much more than that.

I didn't like who I was though. I did not want to be that person any longer. I wanted to change, but I didn't know how to begin.

One day, I got up off the couch while the children napped and I started to create a plan that would improve my life. Now I want to help other women do the same thing.

When I started writing out my action steps I was twenty pounds heavier, I got sick all the time, I could drink a case of soda in less than 48 hours and I never exercised. I would never think of leaving my house alone and found it difficult to meet and keep friends.

I love my life now and it keeps getting better every day. It came down to creating a plan that worked for me and my issues, making decisions and commitments, but most importantly following through on all of it.

I changed my world to be a better place and now it is your turn.
